Our Story
TembeaGo was built by Kenyans who watched exceptional local operators — family-run lodges, independent safari guides, small beach resorts — lose business to expensive international platforms that charged 20 to 30 percent commissions and offered little in return. At the same time, travellers had no reliable way to tell a genuine local operator from a faceless reseller. We built TembeaGo because both problems had the same solution: a trusted, direct marketplace where vendors and travellers deal with each other — with a fair, transparent 10% commission, a fraction of what those platforms charged.
